SCMS Cross Country Finishes Strong in Region Meet

The Stephens County Middle School Cross Country Season recently came to an end.

 The team competed in the region run. The SCMS boys finished 2nd overall and girls finished 5th out of 6. There were 93 runners in the boys meet and 51 runners in the girls meet.

Top SCMS boys were:

Colsen Ivey – 6th place with a time of 12:37

Noah Strickland – 8th place 13:00

Connor Wallace – 9th place 13:01

Jayden Navarro -22nd place 13:39

Top girls were:

Macy Young – 18th place 16:40

Elli Stacey – 22nd place 17:16

Hannah Traudt – 25th place 17:31

Stephens County Middle School coach Blake Adams tells WNEG that the team improved over the course of the season and that he was very grateful for the leadership of the 8th graders and proud of the team.
