SCHS wrestlers pull six first place finishes at King of the Mountain Tournament

It was a great showing for the Stephens County High School wrestling team Saturday at the “King of the Mountain” wrestling tournament at Towns County High School. In the varsity division, the following wrestlers placed in their weight classes:
In first place, Gabe Sanders (106), Ashton Justice (138), Clark Sanders (175) Averi Kell, Danessa Edmonds and Rakiyah Young.
In second place, Khalid Fleming (120), Tucker Fuller (126) and Alexis Holland.
And in third place, Jerome Maxwell.
The SCHS wrestling team will take on Franklin and Habersham Central at the Tri-meet tonight at 5 p.m. on the road at Franklin County High School in Carnesville.
