SCHS Volleyball put two wins on the board to start the season

The Stephens County High School Volleyball team started its season Tuesday night with two wins.  

The Lady Indians went to Commerce and came away with wins in straight sets against Commerce and Greene County. 

Stephens County started the night hot with a 25-4 win in the first set with Greene County, and went on to capture the victory.  

Stephens County then took on Commerce.  

Led by the powerful serves of Emma Summerlin, the Lady Indians defeated Commerce in back-to-back sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-15. 

Stephens County will be back in action tonight starting at 5:30 p.m. with matches against Clarke Central and Habersham at the Currahee Arena.
