SCHS Varsity Football Schedule announced for 2022

The 2022 varsity football schedule has been announced for the Stephens County Indians.

Stephens County will start with 2 scrimmage games—at home against Elbert County on August 5th, followed by another scrimmage game at Fannin County on August 12th.

The Indians 2022 regular season schedule features 5 non-region opponents, beginning with a home game August 19th against Habersham Central in the “Battle of Currahee Mountain” followed by a road game August 26th at Rabun County.

The Indians will return home on September 2nd to host Flowery Branch, and then go on the road to Dawson County on September 9th.

The non-region portion of the schedule concludes with a home game against White County on September 16th.

After a scheduled off week on September 23rd, Stephens County will start region play on the road September 30th at Monroe Area, followed by another road game against neighboring rival, Franklin County, October 7th.

After another open date on October 14th, the Indians will host Hart County on October 21st, travel to Oconee County on October 28th, then wrap up the regular season at home against new region opponent, Hebron Christian, on November 4th.

The two pre-season scrimmage games will kickoff at 7 o’clock, and all regular games are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
