SCHS Varsity Football Schedule announced for 2022

The 2022 varsity football schedule has been announced for the Stephens County Indians.

Stephens County will start with 2 scrimmage games—at home against Elbert County on August 5^th, followed by another scrimmage game at Fannin County on August 12^th.

The Indians 2022 regular season schedule features 5 non-region opponents, beginning with a home game August 19^th against Habersham Central in the “Battle of Currahee Mountain” followed by a road game August 26^th at Rabun County.

The Indians will return home on September 2^nd to host Flowery Branch, and then go on the road to Dawson County on September 9^th.

The non-region portion of the schedule concludes with a home game against White County on September 16th.

After a scheduled off week on September 23rd, Stephens County will start region play on the road September 30^th at Monroe Area, followed by another road game against neighboring rival, Franklin County, October 7^th.

After another open date on October 14^th, the Indians will host Hart County on October 21^st, travel to Oconee County on October 28^th, then wrap up the regular season at home against new region opponent, Hebron Christian, on November 4^th.

The two pre-season scrimmage games will kickoff at 7 o’clock, and all regular games are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
