SCHS Track Team competes at GHSA AAA State Track Meet

The Stephens County High School Track Team had 2 second place and 1 third place finish at the GHSA AAA State Track Meet held at Albany last weekend.

Samara Walker finished second in the girls shot put; Gamarion Carter finished second in the 100 meters; and the boys 4×100 relay team of KP Hayes, Javian Hightower, Vadole Fleming, and Gamarion Carter finished third in the state competition.

In order to compete at the State Track Meet, athletes had to finish in the top 8 of their event at the sectionals held May 8^th.
