SCHS plans virtual graduation for Class of 2020

Stephens County High School has announced its plans for the Class of 2020 Graduation.

According to Stephens County High School Principal Michael Keown, due to ongoing concerns with COVID-19 and current social distancing policies, Stephens County High School will hold a virtual graduation on May 22 to celebrate the class of 2020.

He says the graduation commencement ceremony is tentatively scheduled for July 17 if conditions have improved; however, if conditions continue to be unfavorable on July 17, then October 16 will serve as an alternate date to the ceremony.

Keown adds that students will be receiving information about the virtual graduation in the coming days.
