SCHS places 7th in Golf Tournament

The Lady Titans Classic golf tournament was held on Saturday at Lane Creek Golf Club in Oconee County.  The Stephens County High School girls golf team placed 7^th out of 12 teams.  North Oconee, out of Region 8-AAAA, finished just 6 strokes ahead of the Lady Indians in 6^th place.  Tallulah Falls won the tournament and North Hall was the runner-up.  Senior Abby Akin was low scorer for Stephens County, and placed 16th out of 44 overall.  Freshman Katie Randall was just one stroke back in 18^th place.  The Lady Indians have a match today (Tuesday) against Rabun County at Kingwood Golf Club in Clayton.
