SCHS Lady Indians Volleyball Team celebrates Senior Night

The Stephens County Lady Indians Volleyball program celebrated their Senior Night last Tuesday, October 4th.

It was a special evening honoring their only senior this season, My’Angel Carter.

My’Angel was escorted by her mom, Lakeyta Rousey and her Godmother, Varanessa Marshall.

The Lady Indians had two region matches for the night. In the first match against Hart County, the Lady Indians fought hard, but ultimately ended in a loss.

The second match was a win, in two sets, against the Franklin County Lions which sealed the Lady Indians fifth place spot in Region 8-AAA.

The Lady Indians will face #4 Monroe Area in the first round of the Region tournament Thursday, October 13^th, in Monroe at 5:30pm.

If they win, the Lady Indians will advance to the semi-finals hosted by Oconee County on October 15th.
