SCHS Lady Indian Soccer player signs with TFC

A Stephens County Lady Indian soccer player will be playing for Toccoa Falls College next season.

Abby Burkhart, daughter of Andrew and Marlene Burkhart, recently held a signing ceremony at the high school.

Abby played varsity 4 years on the Lady Indians varsity soccer team.

Even though she was injured most of her sophomore year, she helped Stephens County advance to the 2^nd round of the state tournament both her junior and senior seasons.

Even though she had interest from Kennesaw State and Truett McConnell University, she decided to go to Toccoa Falls College.

Abby says she is very thankful for her high school coach, Erin Fleming.

Abby plans to major in biology while attending Toccoa Falls College.
