SCHS Indians will face Dawson County Tigers tonight in high school football

The Stephens County Indians will be on the road in high school football action tonight as they travel to Dawsonville to take on the Dawson County Tigers.

This is the first meeting in football for the Indians and Tigers.

Last week Stephens County had a big win at home against Flowery Branch, 27 to 11, to improve their record at 2 & 1.

Dawson County, out of region 7-AAA, is also 2 & 1 on the season after their win last Friday over North Hall, 30 to 13.

Kickoff tonight will be at 7:30.

Last Friday in their game with North Hall, Dawson County had 2 running backs with over 100 yards each.  Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Indians linebackers coach, Kirk Rogers, said the Indians defense will be ready.

In other games tonight:  Franklin County will host Banks County, Hart County will travel to Daniel, SC, Habersham Central will host Central Gwinnett, Madison County will host Cherokee Bluff, East Hall plays at Chestatee, and North Hall will host Walnut Grove.

White County, Rabun County, Commerce, East Jackson, and Elbert County all have the night off.

In JV football action last night, Stephens County’s JV team had a shut-out victory on the road over Madison County, 22 to 0.
