SCHS Indians travel to Hartwell tonight for high school football

The Stephens County Indians will travel down to Hartwell tonight to take on the Hart County Bulldogs in high school football.  Kickoff will be at 7:30.

Both teams come into tonight’s game with identical 6 & 1 records.

The Indians only loss was on October 1st against Monroe Area.

Hart County’s only loss was two weeks ago against Oconee County—both teams were off last week.

The Indians and Bulldogs did not play last year’s scheduled game due to Covid issues.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Stephens County’s linebackers coach, Kirk Rogers, said he expects a tough, physical game tonight.

Coverage on 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG starts at 6:30 tonight with the Indian Road Show.

Coach’s Corner starts at 7 and pre-game coverage from Herndon Stadium in Hartwell starts at 7:15.

In other Region 8-AAA games tonight, Franklin County travels to East Jackson and Oconee County will host Monroe Area.
