SCHS Indians to play Habersham Central tonight in High School Football

The Stephens County Indians will wrap up the non-region portion of their schedule tonight as they host the Habersham Central Raiders in high school football action at The Reservation.

Kickoff will be at 7:30.

Last Friday the Indians had a blow-out victory over Madison County at home, 44 to 14, to improve their record to 3 & 1.

The Raiders suffered their first defeat of the season last Friday night as they lost to White County at home, 28 to 21.

Habersham Central has a record of 2 & 1.

Stephens County lost a close game at Mt. Airy last year to the Raiders, 27 to 21, which broke a string of 14 consecutive victories for the Indians.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Stephens County’s Defensive Backs Coach, Rocky Fulbright, says the Habersham Central offense is very good at using both their running back and quarterback to run the ball effectively.

93.1 FM & AM-630 WNEG will begin our coverage tonight with the Indian Tailgate Show live from The Reservation at 5:30, followed by Coach’s Corner at 7, and pre-game at 7:15.
