SCHS Indians off tonight, will return Oct. 12

Stephens County High School’s varsity football team will not have a game tonight due to the open date on their schedule. The Indians will resume play on Friday, October 12^th when they start Region 8-AAAA play by hosting Oconee County. The Indians are 4 & 2 after a 26 to 19 overtime win last Friday night over Cedar Shoals.

Several other area teams will be in action tonight, including: Franklin County will host Jefferson, Habersham Central plays at Lanier, Banks County will host Rabun County, and White County will host Flowery Branch.

None of the teams in Region 8-AAAA will play tonight. Hart County and Commerce also have the night off.
