SCHS Indians, Lady Indians Tennis Teams defeat White County

The Stephens County High School Tennis teams began the season with victories over White County on Tuesday.

The Indian boys won 5 to 0.

Dawson Childs, Rusty Spencer, and Walker Terrell won in singles matches.

Levi Spencer and Joc Brown won at number one doubles and Clayton Jones and Gavin Wilkinson won at number two doubles for the Indians.

The Lady Indians defeated White County, 4 to 1.

Tenley Boyd, Abby Whitfield, and Nyleigh Hutto won in singles matches.

Kara Jones and Laura Sanders won at number one doubles.

Stephens County’s home match with Rabun County that was scheduled for yesterday/Thursday has been moved to February 21^st at Rabun County.

So, the next match for the Indians and Lady Indians will be Tuesday against Tallulah Falls at the Stephens County Tennis Complex.
