SCHS Indians, Lady Indians tennis teams defeat Hart County

Both the Stephens County High School boys and girls tennis teams won Tuesday evening at Region-Rival Hart County.

The girls won 3 to 2, with Elizabeth Leverett winning in singles and both doubles teams—number one doubles Kaylin Snyder and Tenley Boyd as well as number two doubles Abby Whitfield and Erin Terrell—both won.

The girls record improves to 10 & 2 overall and are in second place in Region 8-AAA.

The Indian boys won 5 to 0.

Griffin Wilkinson, Dawson Childs and Rusty Spencer all won in singles.

Number one doubles team of Levi Spencer and Clayton Bishop as well as number two doubles team of Joc Brown and Walker Terrell both won.

The boys overall record is 8-4, and second in the region.

Both the Indian boys and Lady Indians will play a tough East Jackson team this evening at home starting at 4 o’clock.
