SCHS Indians heads to Danielsville tonight in high school football

The Stephens County Indians will travel down to Danielsville tonight to take on the Madison County Red Raiders in high school football.

This is a non-region contest for both teams.  Kickoff will be at 7:30.

The Indians enter the game with an undefeated record of 3 & 0 after last Friday’s home win over Jackson County, 29 to 12.

Meanwhile, Madison County is 2 & 0 on the season after defeating Apalachee on the road last Friday, 29 to 17.  The Indians won last year’s meeting here in Toccoa, 44 to 13.

Stephens County’s defensive line coach, Brad Whitfield, was on the Crunch Time radio show last night.  He said that he is proud of the way the defensive line has played the first three games this season.

In the other games tonight, Franklin County will travel to Jackson County, Habersham Central goes to White County, Banks County will host Lumpkin County, Rabun County will travel to Murphy, North Carolina, and Commerce will go down to Elbert County.
