SCHS Indians football team off tonight

The Stephens County Indians football team has the night off tonight due to an open date on their schedule.

After 7 games, the Indians have lost only once—that was to Rabun County in a non-region game earlier in the season.

Last Friday, Stephens County held Franklin County scoreless in a 63 to 0 road victory.

The Indians’ region record is now 2 & 0.

They’ll resume their schedule next Friday night, October 21st, when they host the Hart County Bulldogs at The Reservation in a big Region 8-AAA contest.

Hart County goes into their open date tonight with an overall record of 4 & 3, and a region mark of 1 & 1.

The other 4 Region 8-AAA teams—Franklin County, Oconee County, Monroe Area, and Hebron Christian—all have open dates tonight.

Elsewhere in the area tonight:  Habersham Central will travel to Gainesville, Rabun County will be on the road at Elbert County, Commerce will play at Athens Christian, White County will be on the road at West Hall, North Hall will play at Chestatee, and Madison County will host Cedar Shoals.

Banks County, East Hall, and East Jackson all have the night off.
