SCHS Indians Baseball team defeats Jackson County, 3-2

The Stephens County Indians baseball team went on the road last night to Jackson County and defeated the Panthers, 3 to 2.

Jackson County did not score until the 7th inning on a hit and 1 error.

Grant Babbitt picked up the win on the mound for Stephens County pitching into the 7th inning and Nick Randall finished it off to get the save.

The Indians scored their first run in the top of the 3rd inning on a RBI single from Dylan White.

Stephens County added to the lead with 3 straight doubles from Ben Stowe, Garrett Pless, and Colby Fowler in the top of the 4th to make it 3 to 0.

The Indians next game will be Friday at 5:30 as they host Habersham Central.
