SCHS Indians Baseball team defeats Jackson County, 3-2

The Stephens County Indians baseball team went on the road last night to Jackson County and defeated the Panthers, 3 to 2.

Jackson County did not score until the 7^th inning on a hit and 1 error.

Grant Babbitt picked up the win on the mound for Stephens County pitching into the 7^th inning and Nick Randall finished it off to get the save.

The Indians scored their first run in the top of the 3^rd inning on a RBI single from Dylan White.

Stephens County added to the lead with 3 straight doubles from Ben Stowe, Garrett Pless, and Colby Fowler in the top of the 4^th to make it 3 to 0.

The Indians next game will be Friday at 5:30 as they host Habersham Central.
