SCHS Football Players Receive All-Region Honors
A host of Stephens County Indian football players receive All-Region honors this year.
Stephens County High School announced on Monday that Ben Cleveland was named Region 8-AAAA Lineman of the Year.
Also, nine Indians received first team recognition.
They are quarterback Mason Long, running back Desmond Wheeler, wide receiver Isaiah Mighell, offensive lineman Vonquise Nicely, linebackers Tyrik Combs and Logan Loudermilk, defensive end Gary Walker, defensive back Micah Oglesby and athlete Jermaine Barnett.
Two Indians were named to the second team.
They are wide receiver Brandon Ballenger and offensive lineman Graham Ferreira.
Four Indians received honorable mention honors.
They are running back Tyreik Cunningham, defensive lineman Kenneth Brock, defensive back Jai Brown, and offensive lineman Tristen Alexander.
