SCHS Cheer takes 1st in first competition of the season

The Stephens County High School Competition Cheer team finished in first place in the first competition of the season on Saturday, September 9, at Morgan County High School.

The team is the reigning Back-to-Back Region 8 AAA Champions and is working hard to make it three in a row. The competition cheerleaders will be back in action at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 23 at Mill Creek High School.

This year’s team is led by a strong senior class of eight Lady Indians: Isabelle Arnold, Madison Dean, Grace Ellis, Kami Hattaway, Rylee McIntyre, Kate Oldham, Sailor Ott, and Lydia Wilson. 

Competition Cheer Coaches are Kaitlan Prince, Cathy Thornton, and Emily Bachelor.
