Schools Covid-19 Update for September 4

Friday’s Covid-19 weekly update from the Stephens County School District for the week ending September 9^th:

3 staff members with a positive Covid-19 test.

29 staff members quarantined.

115 students quarantined at home.

3,929 students currently enrolled in-person and virtually.

536 current employees.

Again, the numbers represented are current active cases as of September 4, 2020, and are not a running total.

Also, a related sports note. The Stephens County Middle School Football opener vs. Habersham last Thursday was postponed due to Covid concerns and will be made-up at a later date. The next scheduled game is September 17^th at Hart County.
