SCH welcomes New Year’s Baby

Stephens County Hospital welcomes its New Year’s Baby for 2018.

The hospital announced on Monday that this year’s proud parents of the New Year’s Baby are Lacey Pitts and Dakota Scott.

Mom, Lacey Pitts, said her baby is a healthy 7-pounds and 8-ounces, 20’’ long, baby boy named Kainan Jax Scott.

“It feels good,” said the lucky mom. “It’s nice getting to hold him and spend time with him.”

This year’s New Year’s Baby was born at 12:24 a.m. on Monday, January 1.

Mom and Dad, told WNEG News that their son is a good baby.

Mom, dad and baby were congratulated by hospital staff and members of the Hospital Auxiliary and were presented with a gift basket courtesy of the Stephens County Hospital Auxiliary.

The new parents also received a free session and $500 towards pictures from Bianca Hubble Photography.

Lacey Pitts said she had a great experience at the hospital.

The maternal grandparents are Chasity Pitts and Casey Outs.

The paternal grandparents are Cindy and Allen Scott.

The mom’s nurse was Deb Knickerbocker and the baby’s nurse was Lauren Hogan.
