SCH Staff postpone Town Hall meeting
Stephens County Hospital has announced that the Town Hall meeting scheduled for October 19th has been postponed.
According to Stephens County Hospital Chief Executive Officer Van Loskoski, the purpose of postponing the town hall is to allow the hospital to continue to explore several strategic initiatives which may impact or reduce any requests for financial support for the Hospital from the County.
The Hospital, according to Loskoski, is confident in its cash position to be able to delay the Town Hall for the time being and feels it most important to have explored any option it may have to its fullest extent before submitting any further requests for financial support.
A new date for the Town Hall meeting has yet to be set.
Loskoski adds that he feels it is very important that the community be involved and understand their strategic plan prior to any future discussions around financial support.
Again, the Town Hall originally scheduled for October 19th has been postponed.
