SCBC’s January 11th meeting canceled due to COVID issues

The Stephens County Board of Commissioners’ meeting scheduled for January 11, 2022, has been canceled due to rising concerns for the spread of COVID-19.

Stephens County Administrator Phyllis Ayers made the announcement on Monday.

She says the cancelation is due to COVID related issues.

At this time, the Stephens County Board of Commissioners’ meeting scheduled for January 25, will still be held.

However, the Stephens County Planning Commission will still meet tonight as regularly scheduled.

The Planning Commission meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. tonight in the Stephens County Historic Courthouse.

Again, the Stephens County Board of Commissioners’ meeting scheduled for January 11, has been canceled.
