SCBC will meet Tuesday morning for its regular scheduled meeting

The Stephens County Board of Commissioners will meet this morning for its regular scheduled meeting and work session.

The board will consider a motion accepting the resignation of Republican Party Representative Bill Grant from the Stephens County Board of Elections.

In the same vein, the board will consider a motion to approve a nomination for the Stephens County Board of Elections Republican Party Representative to fill the unexpired term of Bill Grant.

Grant’s term would have expired June 30, 2023.

In other business, the board will consider a motion declaring April 4, 2020 as Amnesty Day in Stephens County and authorize the payment of County Hourly Personnel as Double Time.

Also, up for discussion, is an amendment to the Land Use Ordinance for Residential Multi-Family District Travel Trailer Park Developments.

The Stephens County Board of Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. today, inside the Grand Jury Room at the Stephens County Courthouse.
