SCBC to hear proposed changes to Land Use Ordinance at next meeting

Changes could be coming to the Stephens County Land Use Ordinances.

During the recent Stephens County Board of Commissioners’ meeting, County Administrator Phyllis Ayers explained that at the next meeting she would be presenting some of the changes that are being proposed.

She explained that they have been working to adjust some of the ordinances.

The text amendments will be presented at the April 26 meeting of the Stephens County Board of Commissioners.

That meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Following the presentation, the Commission will instruct County Staff to prepare the document for public hearings.
