SCBC enter into agreement with Quick Technologies for IT services

The Stephens County Board of Commissioners entered into an agreement with Quick Technologies for Information Technology Services.

According to County Administrator the agreement will expire June 30, 2024.

She says the county recommends Quick Technologies after having worked with this company for several years.

“This is the current vendor that we have now, and this will be a three-year contract; but it is a $125 per month increase over our current contract, and it includes a 4-percent increase every year,” she says. “But I can say, from experience, if you multiply that out by 12 months, it still is a lot less than most of your major IT companies that would come in and do this service for you. He is local and he knows our infrastructure.”

Commissioner Michelle Ivester made a motion to enter into the agreement with Quick Technologies until June 30, 2024, with Vice Chair Debbie Whitlock seconding the motion.

The motion was approved unanimously.
