Sample ballots for March Presidential Preference Primary available for viewing at Registrar’s Office

Sample ballots for the March Presidential Preference Primary are now available for viewing for both the Republican and Democratic primaries.

Both ballots can be viewed in person at the Stephens County Registrar’s office or online on their web sites.

Also, Stephens County Registrar Eureka Gober tells WNEG News voters interested in receiving an absentee ballot can call her office at 706-886-8954 and request an application form.

Additionally, she said all voters age 65 and over will only have to fill out one form for the 2020 election cycle and can receive absentee ballots for the whole year for each election.

Meantime, Gober said there’s still time to get a hands-on look at the new voting machines prior to the Presidential Preference Primary.

She says she will be holding demonstrations throughout the month of February, at the Registrar’s Office, Senior Center, churches, and civic groups.

On Tuesday, February 4, Gober will be holding the first demonstration at the Stephens County Senior Center, beginning at 10 a.m.

Again, to request and absentee ballot application contact Gober by calling 706-886-8954.
