Salvation Army of Toccoa partners with Love Him Love Them ministry to provide Thanksgiving meals to locals
The Salvation Army of Toccoa is again partnering with the Lavonia-based social service organization Love Him Love Them ministry to provide Thanksgiving meals to locals.
That’s according to Social Worker Brenda Gragg, with the Salvation Army of Toccoa.
Gragg says the meals will be delivered to anyone who request a plate.
The deadline to sign up to receive the Thanksgiving meal is Monday, November 18.
Gragg says you can call the Salvation Army of Toccoa office to sign up, at 706-886-5293.
The Love Him Love Them ministry has been delivering meals for the past several years to the homeless, hopeless, and homebound.
Gragg adds that on Tuesday, November 26, the Salvation Army of Toccoa will be hosting a community Thanksgiving lunch at the VFW Post 4346, in Toccoa.
As Gragg said the community Thanksgiving lunch will be held on Tuesday, November 26, at the VFW Post 4346, and begins at 11 a.m.
