Salvation Army of Toccoa in urgent need of donors to fulfil Angel Tree request

There are still over 60 children in Stephens County who, without donors, will not open a gift on Christmas Day through the Salvation Army of Toccoa’s Angel Tree Program.

According to Social Worker Brenda Gragg with the Salvation Army of Toccoa, there are more Angels who have requested gifts then there are donors.

She says if you would like to sponsor an Angel the deadline is quickly approaching.

Gragg says there were over 600 children in Stephens County who signed up to be recipients of the Angel Tree Program.

Gragg says there are options for anyone who would like to sponsor a child.

“You can select a Angel from the tree at Wal-Mart or you can come to our office. Or you can just call us and we can email you the details on the child,” she said.

The deadline to drop off the gifts is Monday, December 16.

The Salvation Army of Toccoa is located at 306 East Franklin Street, in Toccoa.
