Royston Man Sentenced to Life for Rape of Woman and Child

In Franklin County, a Royston man will spend the next 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to the rape of a woman and a child.

On May 6, 53-year old Keelon Glen Bradley pled guilty to two counts of rape and three counts of child molestation in Franklin County Superior Court.

“Bradley agreed to the plea in order to avoid the victims having to testify in open court regarding the abuse they suffered at his hands”, Northern Judicial Circuit District Attorney Parks White said in a press release.

Investigators with the Franklin County Sheriff’s office began looking into the case in 2017 when a child who was one of the victims told someone about the molestation.

During the course of the investigation, detectives reviewed the contents of Bradley’s computer and found child pornography, along with a video he had made in 2009 of him raping a woman who was unconscious, according to White.

After his arrest, Bradley was later indicted for raping the child and the woman.

White said Franklin County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Malcom sentenced Bradly to life with the first 25 years to be served in prison without the possibility of parole.

White said that means Bradley will be 75 years old before he has a chance of being released from prison.
