Rotary Club hosts annual Top 5 Banquet tonight

The Rotary Club of Toccoa will host its annual Top 5 Banquet this evening at 6:00 p.m. at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa.

Those students earning the coveted Top 5 percent title will be recognized at the banquet.

Stephens County High School graduating seniors in the Top Five percent of the graduating class are awarded a $1,000 scholarship to apply to their college education.

Others recognized during this event include the SCHS top five percent of the Junior class, Sophomore class, Freshman class and also SCMS Top five percent of the six, seventh and eighth grades.

Tickets are available for purchase at the SCHS or SCMS at a cost of $15 per ticket.

The students being recognized are provided a ticket at no charge.

Tonight’s event will be held at The Georgia Baptist Conference Center.
