Ribbon Tying for Crozier Collective

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce celebrated one of its newest members, Crozier Collective Gallery, on Thursday, with a ribbon tying ceremony.

Crozier Collective Gallery is located at 46 Doyle St. in Toccoa.

The gallery, owned by Ty and Drew Crozier, displays and sells modern and contemporary artworks from national and international artists. Artworks include paintings, sculptures, prints and other visual artforms.

According to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen, a ribbon tying ceremony symbolizes a community coming around a local business or organization in support of the services it provides.

Ty Crozier said both she and Drew were raised in Stephens County Schools, and were glad to return to start their business.

She said the idea for the gallery was born during their dating trips to various galleries, and that Asheville, NC was specifically an inspiration for the Doyle Street gallery

Several other community members spoke at the event, welcoming the new businesses, including Mayor David Austin.
