Registrar’s Office offers demonstrations for new voting machines through week in Stephens County

Interested Citizens can get an up-close look at the new voting machines this week in Toccoa-Stephens County.

The Stephens County Registrar’s Office is holding daily, demonstrations up until Friday, February 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., also, there will be additional demonstrations being held to accommodate those who can’t attend during the day, from 6 until 8 p.m. today and Thursday.

Stephens County Deputy Registrar April Roberts says these demonstrations allow voters to become familiar with the new machines prior to election day voting.

Again, demonstrations will run through Friday, February 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.; with additional demonstrations being held today and Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Roberts adds that no appointment is necessary to attend the demonstration, she says just come to the Registrar’s Office during those times to receive a step-by-step demonstration of the new voting machines.
