Red Rage takes welcomes fall sports tonight

It’s time for the Annual Red Rage Pep Rally, which ushers in another Stephens County

Indians Football Season.

It will be held tonight at the Stephens County High School Football Field beginning at 6 p.m.

The Indian cheerleaders, football players, marching band and auxiliary will be introduced, as well as all the fall sports teams.

Stephens County Football Cheerleading Coach Kaitlan Prince says the cheerleaders, who organize the annual community event, have worked hard to get it ready.

This year, a food drive will be held in conjunction with Red Rage, coordinated by Neighbors4Neighbors and Food2Kids.

Everyone attending is asked to bring one or more cans of food to drop off at the trucks as you enter the gates tonight. Only regular 15-ounce cans can be accepted.

All food donated will stay local, going to help Stephens County families.

The Indians football team will open the season at Habersham Central on Friday,August 18, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
