Rebels Roll in Carnesville

The Stephens County Middle School Rebels continued their winning ways on Saturday rolling to a 36-6 win over Franklin County Middle School in Carnesville.

Quarterback Cameryn Lacy led the offense rushing and passing for over 200 yards and Stephens County had around 500 yards of total offense.

Lacy got the scoring started in the first quarter on a 20 yard touchdown run, and hit Bailey Stowe with a 70 yard touchdown pass in the 2nd quarter to make the score 14-0 at halftime.

Stephens County Middle School broke the game open in the third quarter on a Lacy 70 yard touchdown run, and a T.J. Everett 8 yard touchdown run.

The Rebels closed out their scoring in the 4th quarter when Devin Turpin scored on a 90 yard run.

The Rebels defense was stout throughout the game and Corey Richey had an interception. The explosive offensive output was anchored by the offensive line led by Aaron Maxwell.

Stephens County Middle School is now 4-0 on the season and can clinch the regular season title and #1 seed in the playoffs with a win at Hart County Thursday night. Game time in Hartwell is set for 5:30 P.M.
