Public’s Help Sought in Carnesville Burglaries

The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help to find the suspects involved in two burglaries.

Franklin County Sheriff Steve Thomas tells WNEG News the burglaries took place sometime over night on August 13th at the Franklin County School System offices on Busha Road in Carnesville and at the Georgia Farm Bureau building at the corner of Highway 145 and Stone Bridge Road.

Thomas said the suspects forced their way into both buildings.

He did not say what was taken from either of the offices.

Investigators processed the offices for any physical evidence, but have no suspects.
