Preparations Underway for This Year’s Harvest Festival

Spaces are still open for vendors for this year’s Toccoa-Stephens County Harvest Fest.

The 42nd annual fall event takes place the last weekend in October – Saturday and Sunday, October 27th and 28th in downtown Toccoa.

Main Street Event Coordinator Sharon Crosby says they are always looking for more vendors even though the official deadline to register has passed.

“The price went up the first of October, but we welcome new vendors. We will have the same vendors, but we also have some new vendors with a variety of crafts that they’re bringing with them,” she said.

Crosby said the deadline for new vendors to register is October 21st.

In addition to the craft and food vendors, Crosby says the 42nd Annual Harvest Festival will feature entertainment options, ranging from two music stages to a activities for children.

“We’ve got some good entertainment planned with a variety of genre,” she said. “We also have the free buggy rides on Saturday and on Sunday we have a covered wagon offering free rides. Papa’s Little ChooChoo will also be there. So, it’s looking like it will be a great festival again this year.”
