Pointe Church sells Christmas trees as mission project

Pointe Church, located at 111 Fieldcrest Drive, in Eastanollee, is currently hosting a mission’s project called “BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE.”

The church started selling Christmas trees last Wednesday, Nov. 22, and will continue to sell trees until they are sold out.

Pointe Church’s Lead Pastor Chad Smith told WNEG News about the project.

“This is the first year that Pointe Church has been a part of BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. but we’re really excited about it,” Smith said.

According to Smith, 15 percent of the money raised will stay in Stephens County to help fund community outreach programs such as the Boys and Girls Club, and the rest will go to Cambodia and Jerusalem.

BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. is an organization that helps children globally and locally.

Rather than purchasing your Christmas tree at a big box retail store, give back to the community with your purchase by buying from Pointe Church.

BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE engages the community and community leaders in a way not possible through typical church events.
