O’Shields named new Executive Director of Family Connection of Stephens County

Kelly O’Shields has been named the new Executive Director for Family Connection of Stephens County.

O’Shields replaces Noel Pauley who resigned earlier this month.

She will be responsible for leading Family Connection of Stephens County in its work to prevent child abuse and neglect locally, strengthen local families with resources and referrals, and improve mental health resources and access in Stephens County.

Family Connection works with other local agencies to ensure that the local partners are working together cohesively to meet the needs of Toccoa-Stephens County.

O’Shields comes to Family Connection with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Georgia and experience in the nonprofit sector, serving locally at The Hope Center of Toccoa.
