Numbers Just Slightly Up in Latest Report

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health has Stephens County with 41 deaths related to Covid-19, a decrease of one since Friday, and 1,242 positive cases of the virus since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Monday afternoon.

DPH is now reporting one more death in Habersham County bringing that total to 75, and now 1,829 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, DPH is reporting 16 deaths in Hart County and still 559 cases, Rabun County is  reporting 11 deaths and 413 cases, Banks County is still reporting 8 deaths and 541 cases, and Franklin County with 843 total positive cases and 17 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 341,310 cases, of those, 30,388 have been hospitalized and 7,657 have died from complications of the virus.
