Norton Marketwatch reports very few homes under $250K for sale in Stephens County

It’s a hot real estate market right now in Northeast Georgia but the number of homes for sale has dwindled.

According to Norton Marketwatch buying a home remains an extreme sport in North Georgia. Buyers know to look alive and stay aggressive while sellers expect top dollar for their homes.

Norton Native Intelligence says, for the first time in a while, there’s a significant shift in inventory with a 22% increase in homes listed for sale in July compared to June.

This increase in available homes is already giving sales a boost, which jumped 15% in just one month.

Median sales prices continue to rise providing little relief to those hunting for homes under $250k.

Over the past 12 months, about 140 homes in the $150-$250K range were sold in Stephens County, according to Norton Marketwatch. Additionally, around 130 were sold under $149K in Stephens County.

Currently, Norton Marketwatch is reporting very few homes in either price range on the market in Stephens County.
