No Additional Area Deaths in Latest Covid-19 Update

The Georgia Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 1,543 positive cases of Covid-19, and still 45 deaths in Stephens County since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Tuesday afternoon.

The latest report has Habersham County with 80 deaths and a total of 2,360 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Hart County is still reporting 20 deaths and now 742 cases, Franklin County is still reporting 19 deaths and now 1,188 positive cases, Rabun County is still  reporting 11 deaths and now 593 cases, and Banks County is still reporting 12 deaths, and 773 cases.

The Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 424,929 cases around the state, of those, 35,063 have been hospitalized, and 8,798 that have died from complications of the virus.
