NGTC Continuing Education Hosting Mountain Classic Hair Show

North Georgia Technical College’s Continuing Education department is hosting the Mountain Classic Hair Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 18 at the college’s Industrial Technology Center at the Clarkesville campus. 

Industry professionals as well as the public are invited to register for the show. 

The event will feature keynote speaker, Aleia Mosley of Macon. Mosley is a co-owner and master cosmetologist at Salon Leia Marie LLC, as well as owner and beauty educator of Mane Patrol Beauty Education Services LLC. 

Mosley will give a presentation on Elements of Hair Texture, and provide a State of the Industry Address. 

The Mountain Classic Hair Show will also include a variety of presentations, including Thermal Design by Salon Centric; The Cutting Edge by Hattori Hanzo; Tid Bits and Tricks Color by Thrix; Makeup Design by Makeup by Noel.

The event will be deejayed by 107.7 The Breeze with Peter J. Callahan.

NGTC Associate Vice President of Economic Development Leslie Foster said, “The Mountain Classic Hair Show was created to provide a unique, comprehensive learning environment for individuals interested in cosmetology, cosmetologists and other industry professionals. We are excited to offer this opportunity to our community and state and encourage you to register now.” 

Registration is now open to the public. The cost to attend is $95 and includes lunch. This event will also satisfy five hours of industry continuing education and health and safety training.
