NGCU Receives State Honor
North Georgia Credit Union was recently honored by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates as the state of Georgia 2020 “Credit Union of the Year” in the category for up to $100 million in assets.
NGCU was recognized for its outstanding achievements in the areas of daily operations, financial prowess and community outreach.
According to NGCU President/CEO Brian Akin, “Receiving this award is quite an honor, and a testament to the hard work and dedication that every member of our team pours into the credit union on a daily basis. Everyone involved in our organization, from the newest employee all the way up to the Board of Directors, can celebrate their part in this recognition. I am extremely proud of our entire team and was honored to be able to accept the award on behalf of the credit union.”
