NGCF accepting grant requests

The North Georgia Community Foundation is currently accepting grant requests for projects funded through its Community Impact Fund.

Nonprofit organizations located in the Community Foundation’s 15-county North Georgia service area may apply for funding.

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations with projects designed to improve the quality of life in the region.

The Community Impact Grant Program was established to enhance the spirit of community and quality of life by supporting the network of nonprofits that serve the North Georgia region.

In previous years, NGCF has awarded grants to Hall County’s Rape Response program, Habersham County’s Prevent Child Abuse, Lumpkin County’s Holly Theatre and several others.

Last year, the program awarded more than $47,000 to 16 organizations.

An online application is available at www.ngcf.org/communityimpact and must be submitted no later than June 30 at five o’clock p.m.

To apply, nonprofits must create a login to the North Georgia Community Foundation’s grant application portal.

Login requests may take up to 48 hours to be approved.

The North Georgia Community Foundation serves Banks, Dawson, Fannin, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White counties.
