NDO’s Reverse Giving Box Event was a success

Ninth District Opportunity’s Reverse Giving Box Event was a success.

In November, Ninth District Opportunity asked the public to fill a box with a new food item each day, at the end of the month the boxes were delivered to Ninth District Opportunity to be given to families and individuals in need throughout Stephens County.

Ninth District Opportunity Community Resource Coordinator Paula Duley would like to give a huge thank you to all individuals, families, churches, and businesses that made the Reverse Giving Box Event an amazing success.

Duley says it was so successful that the Ninth District Opportunity partnered with Social Worker Brenda Gragg at the Salvation Army to assist in the food distribution.

She says it worked out great since the Salvation Army has a system in place to handle the boxes that were brought in.

These boxes, according to Duley, will be a blessing and ensures that someone will not go to bed hungry tonight.
