Natalie Morgan signs with Furman
Stephens County High School Softball standout, Natalie Morgan, has signed a scholarship to play softball at Furman University in Greenville.
Natalie is the daughter of Scott and Dawn Morgan.
She has been a 4 year starter for the Lady Indians playing various positions, including catcher this past season, and was named 1st Team Catcher on the Region 8-AAAA All-Region Team.
Natalie says that in addition to softball, the academic program was a big reason she decided to go to Furman.
Natalie says she is thankful for her high school softball career.
“It’s always a great day to be an Indian,” she says.
Stephens County Lady Indians Softball Coach Katie Jo Gentry says Natalie will be missed on the team.
“We’re excited to see what Nat accomplishes in her future,” Gentry said.
As a member of the Furman softball team, Natalie will be at a Division 1 school where the women’s softball team finished as Co-Conference Regular Season Champions of the Southern Conference last season.
