MST’s annual Storefront Christmas Contest ends this week

This is the final week to cast a vote in Main Street Toccoa’s annual Storefront Christmas Contest.

According to Main Street Toccoa Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby, the contest began during Toccoa Christmas Fest.

Crosby says each participating business has chosen a theme for their display, either from their business, the theme from Toccoa’s Christmas Parade—the Magic of Christmas—or just a Christmas theme that they choose.

A committee of judges will choose a winner, but there is also a popular vote.

Crosby says you can view pictures of the business storefronts on the Main Street Toccoa Facebook page and vote for your favorite.

The entry with the most votes by the end of the contest will win the popular vote.

There are four prizes being awarded: for the judged winners: first place will receive $250, second place $150, third place $100, and the popular vote will receive $250.

WNEG will announce the winners on December 29.
