MST, Ritz Theatre’s Back-to-School Bash is this Friday

As students return back to the classroom this week, Main Street Toccoa and the Historic Ritz Theatre have partnered together for an event, so the fun doesn’t have to end.

On Friday, August 6, come spend your evening at the Historic Ritz Theatre for a fun-filled night of inflatable activities, ice-cream, snow cones, school supplies, treats, and a movie, all free of charge.

Main Street Toccoa and the Historic Ritz Theatre have teamed up to bring you, for the first time, a Back-to-School Bash.

Historic Ritz Theatre General Manager Tami Mayhugh says the event will run from 5:00 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Mayhugh says to join them outside the theatre from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. for a giant inflatable obstacle course and ice-cream.

Members from First Alliance Church Toccoa will be on-site serving snow cones along with The Wright Credit Union giving out school supplies.

Toccoa-Stephens County Public Library’s Children’s Librarian Shantelle Grant will be offering library card sign-ups and handing out treats.

All while supplies last.

Mayhugh says the fun will move inside at 7:00 p.m. for a screening of Monsters University.

She adds that while the event is free, the theatre will be selling concessions during the movie for $1 each.
